Takahashi achieves the best result among Brazilians in the world table tennis rankings
Bruna Takahashi has achieved the best result among Brazilians in the World Table Tennis Rankings of all time. In the list published by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF), she is in 31st place with 1775 points, eight points behind the Top 30. Currently, the 30th place is occupied by the Romanian Elisabeth Samara. This is reported by TV CULTURA, a partner of the TV BRICS network.
This achievement of Bruna surpasses her result of the end of January, when she moved up seven positions to 32nd place, the same day that Hugo Calderano entered the world Top 3, according to the Brazilian Table Tennis Confederation (CBTM).
In addition to her, another Brazilian Caroline Kumahara moved up three positions in the rankings and now occupies 109th place, and Jessica Yamada has risen to 135th place (previously she was 139th). Tennis player Bruna Alexandre is number 321 in the world rankings, four places better than the previous announcement.
In the men's doubles, the positions of Calderano and Gustavo Tsuboi remain unchanged: third (4,913 points) and 40th (1,526), respectively. All other Brazilians in the top 100 have moved up one position: Vitor Ischiy is now in 51st place, Eric Giuti is in 81st, Thiago Monteiro is in 90th.
