Tamil short feature film of Jameer Basha to be premiered on South African TV-channel
TV BRICS International Media Network will present Tamil short feature film by Jameer Basha to African audience. The Gran Prix winner of II International Play Button short film festival in Chennai - a drama "Fourth grade" (Vagupparai) by Indian director Jameer Basha will be premiered on Moja Media TV-channel in South Africa. The drama tells about the life of one Indian village in which the only free school closes. The narration is focused on a 4-grader who doesn't give up and wants to continue studies by all means. The film is dubbed by Omsk television company. The premiere will take place in the framework of a special TV BRICS broadcast block, regularly aired on Moja Media Group channel in South Africa, on 28th of May.
The Russian TV premiere of Vagupparai-movie was presented on TV BRICS as part of festival screenings in May. The Russian version of the film is available on tvbrics.com in the special section "BRICS Cinema".
