The Grand Prix was awarded to "Fun" directed by Gilly Sinnery (Belgium).

Experts noted the diversity of the films' themes, relevance and sincerity of the stories.

Along with the film competition, the 19th Theatre Competition was held at VGIK. Student performances were evaluated by the jury headed by People's Artist of the RSFSR Larisa Luzhina (Russia). The jury included theatre and cinema actor Maxim Vinogradov (Russia), theatre historian Marina Korostyleva (Russia), actress and director Yichen Liu (China), theatre historian Senem Cevher (Turkey).
