The call for applications for the 2nd International Youth Volunteer Conference "BRICS To You" starts

Applications for the 2nd International Youth Volunteer Conference "BRICS To You" have started. English-speaking young people between the ages of 18 and 35 of BRICS countries can participate in the annual global volunteer project event.

The conference is organised by the Russia-BRICS Project Office for International Youth Cooperation. TV BRICS is a media partner of the upcoming event.

The main goal of the conference will be to introduce volunteers from the five countries to cases of international volunteering projects to improve the quality of international youth events.

Furthermore, participants will get an opportunity to voice their own initiatives of international volunteer projects and discuss them with their peers from other countries. According to the conference organisers, the event will identify and train competent volunteers. This, in turn, will contribute to raising the level and effectiveness of the volunteer activists of the BRICS member states.

The conference will also become a convenient platform: representatives of all BRICS countries will gather together, which will facilitate the implementation of joint projects. The event aims to raise the profile of volunteerism.

The event will take place online on 15 February. The outcome of the project will increase the number of qualified volunteers and their awareness of opportunities to participate in future projects in the BRICS countries.

The working language of the event is English.
