The conference "Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation among the BRICS Countries" will be held in October
The International Research and Practice Conference "Science, Technology and Innovation Cooperation among the BRICS Countries" will be held on 25 and 26 October in Moscow. It is possible to apply for participation till 30 September, as announced on the website of the BRICS National Research Committee.
The conference is organised by the BRICS National Research Committee and the Institute of Scientific Information on Social Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The purpose of the event is to constructively discuss strategies, key problems and mechanisms of innovation and technological development and cooperation of the BRICS countries.
The following issues are to be discussed at the conference: global trends of S&T and innovation development; national interests of the BRICS countries in the field of S&T and innovation development; goals, objectives and main mechanisms of modernization of the technological base and scientific complex of the BRICS countries; creating an integrated infrastructure for innovation and technological cooperation among the BRICS economic entities; potential for the BRICS cooperation in technological modernization of energy, oil and gas and oil and gas sectors.
The conference is open to leading Russian and foreign experts, representatives of relevant ministries and agencies, and interested representatives of business, political parties and public organizations, and the mass media. Participation of leading experts may be face-to-face and online.
