The Expert of the Year 2024 award ceremony to be held in Moscow

This season for the first time applications for participation were submitted from China, South Africa, Egypt and Cuba

The award ceremony of the XIII International Award Expert of the Year will be held on 30 October in the Russian capital. The award, organised by the Expert analytical centre, is aimed at identifying leaders who have implemented breakthrough ideas in business and public initiatives.

This year, projects from other countries, China, Cuba and Egypt, took part for the first time. A total of 2,752 applications were submitted by experts.

The award received international status for the 2023-2024 season. On the initiative of TV BRICS, two new nominations were established: "International Projects" and "International Media".

In the first category, the nominees for the award are Liana Beltran-Belskaya from Russia, TV BRICS expert Ndivhuho Tshikovhi from the Durban University of Technology (South Africa) and Li Ge from China, representing the Golden Tree International Documentary Film Festival. In the International Media category, Wang Bin from the Eurasia Bureau of the China Media Group (CMG), German Hermin Ferras Alvarez from Prensa Latina (Cuba) and Mohamed Samir Khedr from Daily News Egypt. All of the above media outlets are TV BRICS partners.

She also noted that the award, as opposed to the ratings of first persons and famous media personalities, is dedicated to non-public people, on whose work the future depends. This year, the organising committee decided to award winners in 15 nominations.

Janna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS, together with her team, won the Expert of the Year award in the Media nomination last season and joined the Expert Council of the award headed by Mikhail Piotrovsky. Mediaset is an international information partner of the award.
