The Favorite Leisure Activity of Russian Females Has Been Disclosed

Nearly two thirds of women in Russia told that they devote most of all their free time to housekeeping, children and gardening. The results of a VCIOM poll point at it, reports a tvbrics.com correspondent with the reference to RIA Novosti.

According to the research, 63% of women do chores in their spare time. Watching TV and listening to the radio (39%), reading books (32%), communication with friends (31%) were named among other popular kinds of pastime. Only 28% of ladies have an opportunity and desire to do a hobby.  

72% of men living with their female partners also told that after work women are busy with other duties. 18% of Russian females have time to relax, 17% devote it to the Internet and computer games.

According to the poll, every third woman in Russia has for four to seven hours of free time on weekday on average, every fifth —two to three hours, and 18% — more than eight hours.

Some respondents are very busy even on days off. 12% have only two-three hours for themselves, 35% —four to seven hours.
1.6 thousand adult Russians participated in the poll conducted by the Russian Public Opinion Research Center.
