The New Russian Ambassador in South Africa Has Been Appointed
Ilya Rogachyov has been appointed the new Russian Ambassador in the SAR by President Putin’s Decree. The relevant document is published on the official Internet portal of legal information, the tvbrics.com correspondent reports.

Earlier, Ilya Rogachyov headed the Department for New Challenges and Threats in the Russian Foreign Ministry. He has released from duty Mikhail Petrakov, a former Russian ambassador in SAR, who also worked as the Russian ambassador in Lesotho. He was released from office by another decree of the President.
