The number of jobs at the Brazilian enterprises has reached a five-year record
Job creation on the basis of the official contracts in September 2018 has reached the highest level for the last five years. It has been achieved thanks to a significant increase of employment in the services and industrial sectors.
According to the register of the Ministry of Labor of Brazil, 137, 336 jobs were created in the country last month. As the Rio Times notes, this level was higher only in September, 2013, when new jobs exceeded dismissals by 211,068 people.
Over the last 12 months, the number of created jobs in Brazil is 459, 217. The service sector, where 60, 961 positions were created, is the leader, then comes the manufacturing sector (37, 449 positions) and trade (26, 685 positions).
The employment rate in September decreased only in the agricultural sector, in which 2, 688 people were dismissed more than hired last month.
