BRICS+ Fashion Summit to take place in Moscow from 28 November to 2 December
The summit will be attended by representatives of fashion associations, media, industry professionals and academic experts. In addition, entrepreneurs, designers, buyers and representatives of fashion schools will join the event. The BRICS+ Fashion Summit aims to provide opportunities for fashion talents to effectively promote themselves in emerging markets. This is reported by Pretoria News, a partner of TV BRICS.
Irina Eliseenkova, International Relations Manager of the BRICS+ Fashion Summit, notes that fashion is a universal means of international communication and it breeds creativity.
The BRICS+ Fashion Summit also aims to bring together industry players to make strategic decisions, identify common challenges and create a permanent community. Cross-communication will serve as a starting point to strengthen the business and economic position of countries in the field of fashion, as well as to promote fashion workers around the world.
The fashion industry is one of the largest industries in the world with an estimated value of US$1.7 trillion.
The summit will feature many fashion-related events, including a business programme, a B2B showroom, fashion shows, and the Moscow Fashion Film Festival.
