Tunisian Transport Minister outlines country’s plans for civil aviation by 2040

Forum "Future of Aviation" (FAF 2024) was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The third forum "Future of Aviation" (FAF 2024) was attended by the Tunisian Minister of Equipment and Housing, in charge of the Transport Ministry, Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This was reported by Tunis Afrique Presse, a partner of TV BRICS.

During the FAF 2024 forum, Sarra Zaafrani Zenzri discussed the reforms Tunisia has implemented to attain sustainable growth. 

Its primary concerns were the restructuring of civil aviation services and the expansion of Tunisian airports' passenger capacity to 33 million by 2030.

According to the source, Tunisia has initiated a number of initiatives to connect major airports to public transport systems and logistical zones, as well as to upgrade the infrastructure of Tunisian airports and enhance the calibre of services offered.
