TV BRICS and HSE agreed to cooperate within the framework of the BRICS Competition Centre
TV BRICS and the National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) have entered into a partnership agreement that aims to provide communications support for topics related to competition policy. The agreement is implemented as part of the activities of the BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre (BRICS Competition Centre), a unit of the NRU HSE.
The Centre was established as a key scientific and expert organisation to ensure cooperation between the BRICS countries on antimonopoly issues.
"Over the years, we have built a sustainable community of competition experts from our countries and a fruitful environment for intellectual exchange. Information is a crucial part of our activities - we communicate the essence and value of our projects, explain the importance of competition and comment on developments from an antimonopoly perspective. Our target audiences are not limited to the expert community - we are interested in the broader BRICS audience," said Alexey Ivanov, Director of the BRICS Competition Law and Policy Centre at the HSE.
He believes that the cooperation with TV BRICS will give the centre access to another effective channel for communication and will take the centre's outreach work with audiences and the media of the association to a new level.
Zhanna Tolstikova, CEO of the TV BRICS International Network, said that cooperation in the media field, as well as humanitarian cooperation, is a kind of foundation for further development of business, political and international relations.
"TV BRICS, by organising a multilateral exchange of professionally produced information, acts as an effective, and to date, perhaps unique tool to promote the BRICS countries' experience in various fields to the international media space. Undoubtedly, it is extremely important to share Russia's vision and achievements in the field of competition protection, and in this respect the BRICS Competition Centre has advanced scientific and methodological developments that will be of interest to the audience of the BRICS countries," said Zhanna Tolstikova.
