TV BRICS and Moscow to join forces to promote image of Russian capital as international centre of creative industries

Cooperation will focus on the development of joint projects and events

TV BRICS International Media Network will become a permanent international information partner of the Autonomous Nonprofit Organisation "Agency of Creative Industries" (ACI). The partners will join their efforts to create a positive image of the Russian capital as an international centre of creative industries and develop entrepreneurship in this sphere in Russia.

The cooperation document was signed on the margins of the 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Janna Tolstikova, CEO of TV BRICS, and Gulnara Agamova, CEO of ACI.

The partners plan to launch and develop new projects in the field of creative industries and hold joint events: festivals, forums, business missions, educational and acceleration programmes.

The Agency of Creative Industries was established by the Moscow City Government in 2020 to support and develop creative business in Moscow and Russian regions. International activities are one of the strategically significant directions of ACI. The Agency is an entry point to the main Russian and international markets for representatives of creative industries, as well as a communication platform for collecting innovative ideas and receiving feedback.

"The capital's creative business has great export potential – we see interest in co-operation in the spheres of film, fashion and video games from foreign partners. ACI helps Moscow entrepreneurs enter foreign markets, find partners and present their brand at major international exhibitions and events. We are glad to start co-operation with TV BRICS: there are many joint projects ahead to promote Moscow creative entrepreneurship in such countries as Brazil, India, China, South Africa, UAE, Egypt", said Gulnara Agamova, CEO of ACI.

TV BRICS annually provides information support to the Russian Creative Week forum, the festival part of which is organised by ACI. For example, in 2024 at the first Russian Creative Week – Urals in Chelyabinsk, international media was represented by Ksenia Komissarova, Editor-in-Chief of TV BRICS. She spoke about the concept of the media network forming a positive news agenda in the BRICS+ countries.

"Today Moscow offers advanced solutions in the issues of sustainable urban development and support for the creative sector of the economy, which may be of interest abroad. TV BRICS International Media Network traditionally advocates strengthening dialogue between regions and megacities of the BRICS countries and promotes interaction between professional communities. We will promote the achievements of the Russian capital in the field of creative industries in the BRICS+ media space as an illustrative example. Media is also a creative industry, so we hope to develop joint projects and programmes with ACI, involving BRICS partners"

Janna Tolstikova CEO of TV BRICS

As an international partner, TV BRICS provides communication and information support for major international events in the BRICS+ countries and media support for the activities of government authorities, cultural and higher education institutions. Among the major public and non-profit organisations, TV BRICS' partners in Russia are Roskachestvo, the Moscow Centre for International Cooperation and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
