The online premiere of the documentary "Unknown Stalingrad" in India will be broadcasted on the platform of an Indian media Corporation Muralikrishnan Chinnadurai Mediacorp on June 28th at 15:30 (+3 GTM). The show will be supported by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Chennai (RCSC).

"Unknown Stalingrad" is a documentary film co-produced by TV BRICS and Moja Media (TV BRICS partner in South Africa), created to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Victory in WWII. The film's main characters are WWII veterans from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Each country had contributed a lot to the Victory. The author of the film is Anastasia Shkitina, the director is Andrey Gula.

The film tells us about forgotten battles of WWII and forgotten heroes. Former soldiers from Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa tell about their participation in the Second World War. These countries have their own Stalingrad. For example, the Danish journalist Peter Harmsen calls Shanghai defense "Stalingrad on the Yangtze", Kohima Battle is known as the "East Stalingrad". Monte Castello and El Alamein are compared with the Stalingrad Battle too. So, Stalingrad became not only a battle but the symbol of the Second World War.

Rana Chhina is an expert in the film, she is the editor of the Indian Center of historical research, who named her daughter after the Soviet partisan Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya.

Muralikrishnan Chinnadurai Mediacorp is TV BRICS digital partner in India. There will be content exchange in the framework of the signed Memorandum of cooperation between TV BRICS and Muralikrishnan Chinnadurai Mediacorp.

So "Unknown Stalingrad" will be available to the viewers of the Muralikrishnan Chinnadurai platform, and video content produced by the Indian company will be offered to users of the TV BRICS web-site.
