TV BRICS film "Magadan Silver" is included in the competition programme of the III International Film Festival "Territory of People's Unity"

The documentary film "Magadan Silver" produced by TV BRICS has been shortlisted for the III International Film Festival "Territory of People's Unity". The festival will be held in Arkhangelsk from 31 October to 4 November 2023 in offline and online formats.

The picture "Magadan Silver" by director Andrey Porshnyak (2023) is presented in the nomination "Heroes are born in labour".

In the Magadan region there is the largest silver deposit in Russia and the third largest in the world. Our team got acquainted with those who work in this region on a rotational basis. In a special TV BRICS project, they talk about themselves, their work and the romance of the Far North.

This year's competition programme included 42 films in five categories, including documentaries, short and feature films.

The head of the international film festival "Territory of People's Unity" is the film director, producer and public figure Alexander Ilyin.

The goal of the film festival is to introduce the viewer to the national culture and spiritual values of the peoples of Russia through cinema. The selected films show the unique features of each ethnic group, cultural peculiarities and traditions of small peoples.

The event is organised by the Government of the Arkhangelsk region and the non-profit partnership for the promotion of cinema and tourism "Kit". The initiative is supported by the Federal Agency for Nationalities and the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.
