TV BRICS International Media Network to premiere "Vmeste-RF" programme in South Africa
South Africa will host the international premiere of the programme "Not a Foreigner", a project of the Federation Council TV channel "Vmeste-RF". The TV premiere is organised in cooperation with the TV BRICS International Media Network.
On 9 August, BRICS TV, which is part of Moja Media Group (TV BRICS partner in South Africa), will show the first episode "Brazil". The episodes "Swiss", "UK" and "Italy" will then air in August.
The protagonist of the premiere film is Ana Livia Araujo Esteves. She was born in São Paulo but now lives and works in Moscow. She is a journalist at a news agency and a radio host.
The "Not a Foreigner" project tells us about those who love Russia, for whom our country has become a second homeland, who arrived, changed climate, way of life and gradually became Russian.
The TV channel of the Federation Council "Vmeste-RF", a partner of the TV BRICS International Media Network in Russia, is the first Russian parliamentary TV channel, which will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2023.
"Vmeste-RF" broadcasts not only news, live broadcasts, opinions of authoritative newsmakers, but also educational, popular science programmes and documentaries.
TV BRICS regularly organizes TV and festival premieres of programmes and films produced by the BRICS countries on TV channels, platforms and film festivals of the TV BRICS network partners in the five countries. Thanks to the partnership with TV BRICS, films and programmes of Russian film and television companies are made available to the national audiences of the largest media outlets in Brazil, India, China and South Africa.
For example, last year, the travel show "Checklist" created by the TV BRICS International Network together with the Federal Agency for Tourism of the Russian Federation (Rosturizm) and the travel service Tutu.ru aired on CGTN-RUSSIAN of Chinese Central Television.
In addition, special screenings of Russian documentary films were launched on Moja Media (South Africa) as part of a joint project between TV BRICS, the “Prodvizhenie” channel and the "RUSSIA" Open Documentary Film Festival.
TV BRICS and Renmin Ribao's series of programmes "Russian Stars Cooking Chinese Food" was shown on the platform of the Brazilian news agency Metrópoles.
