On Wednesday, 24 May, the Third Kostomarov Forum is an important event for russianists worldwide opened at the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute in Moscow.
Within the framework of the opening ceremony, Daria Ivankova, Director of TV BRICS International Cooperation Department presented the project of the media network and its activities to promote Russian language in far abroad countries.
TV BRICS International Media Network initiated informational interaction with educational institutions in BRICS+ countries in order to promote new integration mechanisms for cooperation between members of the five countries in the field of education in the global media space. The capabilities of TV BRICS also make it possible to effectively promote the Russian language in the far abroad countries, which is one of the priorities of the media network within the education track.
"The Department of Innovative Linguistic Projects of TV BRICS is working on the international platform "Modern Russian" dedicated to Russian philology. Specialists regularly organise educational teleconferences for teachers and students of foreign universities where Russian is taught as a foreign language. The most active participants today are universities in Brazil and India. It is important to note that professionally prepared media content is used within the framework of the teleconferences. The high quality and methodological value of the videos produced by TV BRICS allows the materials to be used during studies of Russian as a foreign language. TV BRICS shares self-produced videos with higher education institutions for further use by teachers as part of their lessons"![]()
