On 9 January, TV BRICS will air the "Children of the Arctic" animated series. TV BRICS will air the “Children of the Arctic” on Mondays at 9:45 a.m and on weekends at 2:45 p.m.
The Arctic is the centre of the world, a space for travel and discovery. The main characters in the animated series are a wild reindeer, a polar bear, Anya and Vitya. Friends travel across the tundra and explore the world. They often get into trouble, but they always help each other out and achieve their goals.
The animation film was created as part of the "Children of the Arctic" project to preserve the linguistic and cultural diversity of the peoples of the North.
The programme, provided by "Arctic Initiatives" ANO, will be broadcast on BRICS partner resources.
TV BRICS actively supports sustainable development initiatives in the Arctic.
For example, the Media Network covered the international conference "The Arctic: sustainable development" held in Moscow. Russia is chairing the Arctic Council from 2021 to 2023. The priority areas of the chairmanship were a key topic of discussion at the conference.
