“In relation to Russia, the epithets“ the most ”and“ mysterious ”are often heard. The largest country in the world, stretching over 11 time zones, containing 7 climatic zones, inhabited by more than 190 ethnic groups. At the same time, for many, Russia remains a mystery - distant, cold, inhospitable. Russia is really distant, in some places it is very cold, and in some places - and this is no joke - bears walk the streets. But what kind of Russia, well, you can't call it - it's inhospitable. I would like to express my gratitude to the organizers of the International Tourism Film Festival in South Africa. I consider this initiative serving the cause of strengthening cultural and diplomatic ties between peoples, which is more important than ever in the current turbulent times, ”said the Consul General of Russia in Cape Town Alexey Malenko.
Screenings of videos about travels to Russian regions at the site of the International Tourism Film Festival in South Africa ITFFA will be held with the support of the international network TV BRICS, the Federal Tourism Agency (ROSTURISM).
