TV BRICS was presented to participants of internship programme "InteRussia"

On Wednesday, 30 November, a meeting of the participants of the internship "InteRussia" took place in Gorchakov Foundation, the organiser of the event. Rossotrudnichestvo, the international news agency and radio Sputnik and the international network TV BRICS are the partners of the event.

Daria Ivankova, Director of TV BRICS International Cooperation Department, presented the project to journalists from the leading media of Latin America. Journalists, editors and writers got acquainted with the mechanism of interaction within the partnership network of media of the BRICS countries.

“Today TV BRICS is strengthening its partner network in various fields. This is not only the media sphere, today we are working with a wide network of partner universities, research centers in the BRICS countries. Among our partners are international film festivals. Moreover, recently TV BRICS has been intensifying its work in the direction of BRICS+.”

“TV BRICS does really an incredible job, connecting the most relevant media in BRICS countries and showing what is relevant for BRICS countries, making everyone know areas of cooperation. <...> I was interested in learning about how the cooperation with news sources works,” he said.

The meeting was attended not only by representatives of the BRICS countries, but also by leading journalists from Ecuador, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Cuba and Nicaragua.

According to the director of El Deforma Gutierrez Saldaña Alfonso Israel, TV BRICS means a lot for future audiences.

“TV BRICS offers new versions, new ways, new formats of presenting information around the world. It’s cool that we are sharing culture, work, ideas, languages. I hope that this project will become even bigger,” said director of El Deforma.

Rojas Gutiérrez Cristian Ezequiel from Nicaragua stressed that the initiative of TV BRICS is a big opportunity for all of the countries in Latin America.

“TV BRICS is a big opportunity for us to have other chances and ways to communicate with each other,” he noted.

In September, TV BRICS was also presented to journalists from leading media of the ASEAN countries.
