TV BRICS will host a workshop at "Russian Creative Week"
On Saturday 9 July, TV BRICS will hold a masterclass during Russian Creative Week entitled "How to Get to the News of the Five BRICS Countries? Soft power in a tough environment".
The global information space aspires to multipolarity. The national and global media, responding to growing audience demands, are moving towards expanding their own agenda and seeking new sources of information. How do you become such a source?
At a time when the media space is more fluid than ever, cooperation with the national media of the BRICS countries is a necessary vector for creating a common information space for the five countries, as well as promoting the image and authority of each of the BRICS countries.
Speakers of the event: Janna Tolstikova, TV BRICS CEO and Daria Ivankova, TV BRICS deputy general producer for International Cooperation.
During the master class, the speakers will explain what Russia-related topics are of interest to the audience of the BRICS leading media and discuss what is more effective - sharing information with the BRICS national media or broadcasting the agenda through their own platforms in foreign languages.
In addition, experts will explain how to build equal cooperation with Chinese media giants, taking into account the specifics of working with media partners from the Middle Kingdom. Another sub-theme of the workshop will be integrating your own stories into the media picture of another country.
Representatives of TV BRICS will share their experience in promoting Russian language, culture in BRICS media space as well as distribution with the media of the BRICS countries.
