UN 75 and Friends for Leadership projects contest calls
Friends for Leadership, the international community of young leaders and entrepreneurs, together with the UN Information Center in Moscow, the Roscongress Foundation, the Center for International Promotion and TV BRICS under the auspices of the UN Office for the 75th Anniversary, invite authors of projects on sustainable development to take part in the project competition.
Quarantine asks us to be more innovative in turning loss into an opportunity. Young entrepreneurs and leaders may better understand what we need now to ensure the decade of action toward the realization of the Sustainable Development Agenda by 2030, and shape the future we want. The Friends for Leadership network has been striving to synergize working solutions from our communities, which can be scaled from local to international level and implemented where they are needed.
Ideas from young leaders from around the world will be part of a collaborative compendium of scalable projects and best practices across all 17 SDG 2030 areas. The result of active work in social networks online on the UN agenda 75 this year will be a roadmap for the implementation of projects and further cooperation with the UN.
Selected project leaders may receive a small grant for implementation of the project and ensuring the methodology of its replication elsewhere through the partners along with media coverage and support by our media partner. The outcomes of the winning projects will be presented in the guidebook together with a substantial report to the UN HQ after the Friends for Leadership Online Summit on 22 December, where all the applicants will be invited.
Applications are accepted until December 20, 2020 by the link.
