UNIVESP TV starts a partnership with TV BRICS

The program will premiere with the film "More expensive than gold" on 14 March

On 14 March, UNIVESP TV will begin broadcasting weekly programs of TV BRICS.

Several programmes and documentaries from the TV BRICS international media network collection will be presented. The premiere begins with the film "More expensive than gold" on 14 March at 8 p.m. Brazilian time (2 a.m. Moscow time). The broadcast will continue with the programme "Let's be Honest" with is about ecology and sustainability.

Eduardo Barreta, director of UNIVESP TV, believes that productions from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, will help to develop a common space of information in order to accelerate social and economic development.

"Through immersion in the traditions, cultural and historical diversity of these countries, the programme offers content on economics, society, technology, sport, culture, tourism, personalities, news and modern trends. This is a unique opportunity to get to know the world without leaving home!", said Barreta.

The channel allows a greater access to free quality public higher education in the State of Sao Paulo. This is the goal of the 4th Public University of Sao Paulo, Univesp. The Virtual University of the State of Sao Paulo offers undergraduate courses in the areas of Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Engineering and Production Engineering, among others. Students have access to contents and activities on the learning platform, in the collaborative space on the internet and on Univesp TV.

The channel can be set up on the mobile phone or tablet through the Cultura Digital application, and also by streaming on the official website.

TV BRICS is already broadcasting a weekly block of programmes on Brazilian TV channels such as TVC RIO and COM BRAZIL, also partners of the broadcaster.
