Used car sales in Brazil up 16.5% in August
In the Federal District of Brazil, the increase in used car sales reached 16.5% compared to the same month last year (19,591). This figure was well above the national average of 10.9%.
In Goiás state, for example, the decline in sales was 1.9%; in Mato Grosso state, 4.8%; and in Mato Grosso do Sul state, 8.1%. This is reported by Metrópoles, a partner of the TV BRICS network.
Vehicles described by sellers as old, over 13 years old, continue to be the preferred option for consumers. At least three cars out of every ten sold are in this age range. Nationwide, there are 470,845 used vehicles with this lifespan.
