Vladimir Putin: energy supplies from Russia to China grow to record volumes

Energy supplies from Russia to China are currently reaching record volumes, Russian President Vladimir Putin said in his greeting to the participants, organisers, and guests of the 6th Russia-China Energy Business Forum, the text of which is available on the Kremlin's website.

"Specialists from our countries are working together to improve the technologies of extraction, processing, and transportation of raw materials and to increase their environmental safety"

The leader noted that one of the most significant components of interaction between the two countries is traditionally energy cooperation, which has recently become especially productive.

Earlier, President Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping signed a joint statement on deepening relations through comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation.
