Zhui and Dindin Pandas settled in the Moscow Zoo
Two Chinese pandas will appear in the Moscow Zoo. The ceremony of handing over the bears and the opening of the pavilion will be held with the participation of the leaders of Russia and China, a correspondent for tvbrics.com reports with reference to TASS.
“The leaders will take part in the ceremony of transferring two large pandas to the Moscow Zoo, this animal is a national symbol of China, our guests attach great importance to this event. And a special pavilion for these pandas opens in our Moscow zoo,” Yury Ushakov, the Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation, said to journalists.
Moscow residents and guests of the Russian capital will be pleased with young pandas Zhui and Dindin. Recall China handed over the bamboo bears, considered the symbol of the Middle Kingdom, to Russia in April of this year during the visit of President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin to the People's Republic of China.
This event is dedicated to the celebration this year of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
It should be noted that China presents pandas to other countries in special cases only. Many zoos in the world rent these charming bears for very decent money only.
