Zimbabwe and Mozambique are actively fostering economic ties
President Emmerson Mnangagwa extended his felicitations to President Filipe Nyusi of Mozambique for the successful restoration of the Machipanda railway line. This is reported by ZBC News, a partner of TV BRICS.
The Zimbabwean President said the move will increase trade from 600 000 metric tonnes to 3,5 million metric tonnes.
The rail link will not only solve the problem of truck congestion but will also be a cheaper option to move goods.
Emmerson Mnangagwa emphasized the enduring commitment of Zimbabwe and Mozambique to fortify their robust bilateral relations.
