Zimbabwean authorities invite famous guests from UAE to attract tourists

Emirati bloggers will tell subscribers about their experiences in the African country

The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority (ZTA) has turned its attention to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) market. The authority has invited Emirati bloggers to the country in a bid to boost the influx of tourists from the Middle East. This is reported by ZBC News, a partner of TV BRICS.

“These are part of efforts to sell destination Zimbabwe. We can’t be telling our own story and what better way than to allow others to share it for us. Their words and perceptions will shape a good narrative for us and help us boost tourist arrivals," Zimbabwe's Ministry of Tourism and Hospitality Industry spokesperson Takuza Munyanyiwa said:

UAE blogging community representative Maitha Alsuwaidi said she was looking forward to sharing her experiences with her compatriots.

The bloggers will spend eight days in the country. They will visit the city of Nyanga, Hwange National Park and Victoria Falls.
