A new mobile app can detect plant disease

Specialists at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research have developed a mobile application to recognize pathologies and detect parasites in plants. Computer neural networks process a photo of crops and see diseases thanks to model training. The developers used the JINR supercomputer for this purpose.
