My India. 355th anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh
India is a land of varied cultures and festivals. Be it Diwali, Eid or Christmas, every festival is celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The similar scenes were witnessed during the 355th anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh that was celebrated with great fervour across the country.
Sikhs across India thronged Gurudwaras, the holy Sikh shrines to offer prayers on the birth anniversary of the 10th Sikh Guru, Gobind Singh. Takt Shri Harmandir Sahib in Patna city, which is also the birthplace of the Guru, was reverberating with the religious renditions of ‘bhajan’, ‘Kirtan’ and ‘Katha’ on the occasion.
Devotees participated in religious programmes and paid obeisance to the Holy Guru Granth Sahib.
Owing to rising number of Covid cases, the rituals were kept simple and limited number of devotees was allowed inside the Gurudwara premises.
