My India. Christmas сelebration

Commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, Christmas in India is observed with great pomp and splendour across the country and plays an important role in promoting unity and harmony among all.

Churches were decked up with beautiful lights and carols energized the whole atmosphere as the country stood festooned in special colours of Christmas.

Days before the festival, markets were packed with variety of wreaths, banners, stockings, Christmas trees, coloured baubles, ferry lights, stars, Santa Claus hats and many more decorative items.

Fondly called the season of gifts, people flocked the market places to do shopping for their loved ones.
