Devotees from the southern states of Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh danced to the beat of the drums as they thronged the Sharanabasveshwar temple in Kalaburagi city of Karnataka. In a show of great devotion and religious fervour, they all gathered here for celebrating the Sharanabasveshwar Rath Jatra, a festival celebrated to mark the death anniversary of the 18th century Lingayat Saint-Scholar Sharanabasveshwar.
