My India. Fighting against COVID-19
With the country battling the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, both the authorities and the citizens are doing their best in taking steps to battle the virus and help the needy amid tough times like these. Today, in our episode of My India we will have a look at two such examples where people have gone an extra mile to lend a helping hand to the commoners.
While the authorities are working overtime to help the people fight the second wave of the deadly virus, a number of individuals and organisations are also coming up with ways to educate the citizens about the virus.
Extending a helping hand in such a scenario is Ashok Kurmi from Mumbai city of Maharashtra who has been disinfecting a slum with a surge in COVID-19 cases in the city.
