My India. Janmashtmi festival
Being a highly spiritual country, festivals are at the heart of people living in India. The country celebrates a number of festivals throughout the year that offers a unique way of seeing its culture at its best. One of them is year’s Janmashtmi festival that celebrates the birth of Krishna. The festival is also said to be a celebration of good over evil as Lord Krishna is believed to have come to the earth to destroy the evil king called Kansa, who ruled some parts of the northern Indian region, with Mathura as his capital.
