My India. North East festival

The rich ethnic heritage of North East region was recently on display in Assam as it hosted the two day festival.

Organised by the state’s National Thermal Power Corporation or NTPC Bongaigaon Salakati, the event was held as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav, celebrating 75 years of India’s independence.

Artists from almost all the seven states of northeast that include Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Tripura performed dance numbers on stage to present their rich culture and traditions. More details in our video.
