Vishwakarma Puja is an important festival celebrated across India which marks the birth anniversary of Lord Vishwakarma, the Divine Architect. On this workers and artisans worship their tools and machineries as a token of gratitude. In Siliguri city of West Bengal Mahawats worshipped elephants, which is believed to be vehicle of the diety.
