Opera singer Li Sanin: "Performing on the world's major stages, I try to be myself"
Is it necessary not to deviate from the accepted traditions of the European opera school when performing classical opera repertoire? Which roles are particularly difficult for artists? Which singer or composer's work can be called a benchmark? And why should an artist immerse himself in the peculiarities of the director's profession?
This was discussed in an interview with TV BRICS by Sanin Li, an opera singer with a PhD in vocal music.
