Russia has developed digital model of plants
Students of the Department of Biotechnology at the Russian State Agrarian University named after K.A. Timiryazev have developed a unique method for predicting the development of plants and their fruits by changing conditions, such as soil composition, the amount of fertilisers, temperature, and other parameters.
Plants are placed in in vitro conditions. And then the data is calculated using a 3D model. This will minimise farmers' risks and avoid the problems of crop failure in drought or frost.
