Russian family collects antique masks and sculptures from Africa, India and Brazil
The family museum's collection includes ritual masks, sculptures and amulets from Africa, Nepal, India and Brazil. According to the beliefs of African tribes, antique objects give strength and ward off evil spirits. A special place in the Bolesov family museum is occupied by buffoon masks. Tatyana makes them herself. In Russia, such attributes were used to depict people, animals or mythical creatures. For more details on the family museum's collection, see our story.
