In Moscow, the TV BRICS international media network has signed cooperation agreements with the Ministries of Enlightenment and Higher Education of the Republic of Cuba. The main purpose of such cooperation is to strengthen ties between the education systems not only of Russia and Cuba but also with other BRICS countries.
TV BRICS is already working with the Ministry of Education of the State of Rio de Janeiro in Brazil. In total, the partner network includes more than 20 leading universities from the Five countries. An important emphasis in this work is made on promotion of Russian as a foreign language, which is very popular in Cuba.

"A high level of cooperation is maintained with Latin American countries in the humanitarian sphere. The number of countries with which we have established a visa-free regime is steadily growing - currently it covers 27 Latin American states. This opens up more and more opportunities for business, scientific and cultural exchanges, as well as increasing counter tourist flows"
