Walking MSU robot
Researchers from Moscow State University have developed Russia's first walking robot. Previously, only teams from America, Europe or China were able to invent such a robot.
Weighing about 15 kilograms, the smart machine is about the size of an adult poodle. It understands several computer commands and gets up without any help. The specialists of the Mechanics Research Institute began to make the first drawings about two years ago. The team spent over a year creating paws and actuators for the robot, and the brain of the machine is a mini-format personal computer.
