Hindi and Tamil are gaining popularity among Russian students

Indian culture is gaining popularity in Russia. More and more students are choosing to study Hindi and Tamil. This is how the International Centre for South Asian Studies opened 20 years ago at the Russian State University for the Humanities. Here, students can learn Hindi, Tamil, study at universities in India and take language internships. More in our story.

For help in organising the filming we would like to thank:

- International Centre for South Asian Studies;

- Russian State University for the Humanities;

- Institute of Oriental Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
