From Shaivite Masters to Sufi Saints, Jammu and Kashmir is well known for being the land of spiritual gurus. It is rightly called as ‘Peer Vair’ meaning an abode of Sufis and saints, who played a crucial role in knitting the culture called ‘Kashmiriyat’. To bring this rich heritage of the territory to light, three day Sufi festival was held at Sher E Kashmir International Conference centre in Srinagar.
