At the Russia-Africa International Parliamentary Conference the president of Russia said that trade between Russia and African countries in 2022 amounted to about $18 billion. Thus the bilateral relations between the countries are developing steadily. Delegations from more than 40 countries of the continent attended the conference.

They discussed food and energy security, interaction in political and legal spheres. Participants paid particular attention to cultural and educational issues. See our story for more details.
