The first African Urban Forum kicks off in Addis Ababa

The event brought together representatives from 47 countries

The 1st African Urban Forum officially kicked off in Addis Ababa with the theme “Sustainable Urbanisation for Africa’s Transformation”. This is reported by Fana Broadcasting Corporate (FBC), a partner of TV BRICS.

The forum is attended by African mayors, religious leaders, elders, academics, and other stakeholders from 47 countries.

The forum aims to find solutions to urban challenges on the continent.

As part of the event, cities in Africa are expected to share experiences and visit megaprojects and tourist attractions in Addis Ababa.

Roundtable discussions, panel discussions, and other events will be another important part of the meeting.
