3D Mineral and renewable resource maps to be produced by the UAE

The United Arab Emirates is making a significant contribution to sustainable resource development

In order to produce 3D maps of the nation's natural resources, the Institute of Technological Innovation and the UAE The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) has inked a significant cooperation deal. This is reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.

The agreement's goal is to give the UAE government the freedom to explore and utilise untapped mineral and renewable resource bases in line with the UAE’s Net Zero 2050 Strategy, which lays out its roadmap to achieve net zero emissions.

According to the source, the programme, which aims to identify the natural resources of the United Arab Emirates, could run for up to five years.

Experts predict that this project will make a major contribution to the mapping, exploration, and discovery of mineral resources and renewable energy sources in the United Arab Emirates.
