Egyptian higher education institution joins BRICS Network University
The university's head believes that this will strengthen its position in the international arena
New Valley University (NVU) has officially joined the BRICS Network University (BRICS-NU), which brings together educational institutions from Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Iran, the UAE, Ethiopia, Indonesia, and Egypt for cooperation in the field of education. This is reported by Sada El-Balad, a partner of TV BRICS.
The President of NVU, Professor Abdel Aziz Tantawi, noted that joining BRICS-NU opens up new opportunities for international cooperation, joint research projects and strengthening the university's position on the world stage.
"New Valley University's accession to the BRICS Universities Network represents a strategic step toward expanding the horizons of international cooperation and leveraging global expertise in the fields of higher education and scientific research. This accession enhances the university's regional and international standing and opens the way for our students and faculty to participate in joint research projects with prestigious universities," he said.
According to him, the university will continue to play a key role in implementing the state strategy for food security and agricultural development.
