Iran's national women's basketball team reach Asia Cup final
The team will face either China or Mongolia
Iran’s national women’s basketball team has advanced to the final of the FIBA Women’s Asia Cup Division B after defeating Thailand. This was reported by Pars Today, a partner of TV BRICS.
The semi-final match, hosted in China on Saturday, saw Iran defeat their Thai opponents 78–52. Roksana Barhaman was named the best player of the match, contributing 20 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and 4 steals, with a performance index rating of 22.
Iran will face the winner of the match between China and Mongolia in Sunday’s final. The champion of this competition will earn promotion to Division A of the Women’s Asia Cup, set to take place in 2027.
