Egypt wins African AirBadminton Team Relay title for second consecutive year
National team retains its continental championship in Uganda after an unbeaten run through the 2026 tournament

Egypt has retained the African AirBadminton Team Relay title for the second consecutive year after winning the continental championship held in Uganda, as reported by MENA, a TV BRICS partner.
The Egyptian national team completed a successful campaign through the group stage, semi-final and final to defend the title it first secured in 2025.
Egypt delivered consistent performances throughout the competition, finishing top of its group before progressing through the knockout stage and securing the championship in a final.
The tournament was held in Entebbe, Uganda, on the shores of Lake Victoria and brought together national teams from across Africa.
Egypt's squad included Ali Ashraf, Abdelrahman Magdy, Youssef Mohamed, Ahmed Salah El Din, Moaz Hisham, Nada Sherif Mohamed, Reem Hussein, Nour Mohamed, Janna Fakhr and Nada Ehab.
