About TV BRICS

The TV BRICS International Media Network was established in 2017, following the BRICS summit in Xiamen, China. This initiative, supported by the leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, aims to "establish cooperation in the media sector, including exploring the feasibility of a joint television channel to disseminate objective information regarding BRICS activities." TV BRICS is headquartered in Moscow, Russia.

TV BRICS is the newest system of multilateral information exchange between the media of the BRICS+ countries. The partners interact through the TV BRICS multilingual portal and the 24-hour TV channel of the same name.

More than 100 major media outlets from 30 countries act as permanent partners of TV BRICS, and the media network's information presence reaches 80 countries.

The total technical coverage of the TV BRICS partner network exceeds 1.5 billion users.

TV BRICS is an official partner of the United Nations and a member of the Organising Committee for the preparation and support of Russia's presidency of BRICS in 2024.

The mission of TV BRICS is to create a unified information space for BRICS on the basis of equal cooperation between all countries and to disseminate objective information on humanitarian and economic activities of the BRICS members and partners.

As an international partner, TV BRICS provides communication and information support for major international events in the BRICS+ countries and media support for the activities of government authorities, state, non-profit, and public organisations.

It cooperates with higher education institutions, including participants of the BRICS Network University, and film organisations to develop professional industries, expert communities and promote the unification ideology through education and art. 

Initiates its own humanitarian projects and co-organises international and national events in the BRICS+ countries.
